Every Rare Diamondss piece begins in Surat, Gujarat — the city that cuts and polishes over 90% of the world's diamonds. This is not a marketing claim. It is a fact that the global diamond industry quietly depends on, while charging you as if it doesn't exist.
Our family has been part of that industry for generations. We know how diamonds are born, how they are cut, and exactly what they are worth before the markups begin. Rare Diamondss was built on that knowledge — and a decision to share it with you.

The traditional fine jewellery industry is built on distance — between the mine, the cutter, the wholesaler, the importer, the designer, and finally, the retailer. Every step adds a margin. By the time a diamond reaches a retail store in the United States, it has passed through five or more businesses, each taking their cut.

Our craft
Every piece in our collection is hand-selected, individually set, and inspected before it leaves Surat. We work with artisans who have spent their careers mastering this craft — people who treat every stone as if it were their own. There are no factory shortcuts, no outsourced finishing, and no compromises on quality.
Each diamond is IGI certified, giving you independent verification of the stone's cut, clarity, colour, and carat weight. You do not have to take our word for it — the certificate speaks for itself.
The person behind it
Rare Diamondss was founded by Hunnar Bhaggwani — born into a family with generations in Surat's diamond trade, and built with one question in mind: why should a customer in New York pay three times what a diamond is worth, simply because of the distance between them and the source?
